Great service and good prices. I had some repairs quoted several months ago and the employees honored the quoted prices without being asked. The team provided good documentation with pictures everytime they inspected my vehicle and never tried to upsell me on unneeded repairs. I will definitely keep coming here.

Leonardi Automotive was a referral to us and they have been nothing short of thoughtful, kind, honest, and prompt to help our family with our daughter's car when it needed repairs while she is away at college. This is our third visit for different items (essentially fixing a lot of the errors of the previous mechanic of the car). From brake replacement, starter repairs, window repair (which ended up being nothing, so no charge). They continue to impress me with their transparency on costs and no surprise moments. All disclosure and information and choices and we appreciate that maintaining an older vehicle. Even when playing phone tag for setting an appointment, they kept trying to call me back (that alone impressed me). They even helped us coordinate a tow of our vehicle to their workplace at a much cheaper cost, after another tow group tried to overcharge us for the same service. It was very easy to make appointment with Leonardi Automotive. The staff was professional, polite, and fixed my slow-leaking tire quickly. Finally, the cost of the repair actually surprised me, in a very good way. It was less expensive than I would have thought given I live in Marin and the costs of all services and products have escalated the past several years. Scott did an inspection and determined that a new starter was needed which was under my extended warranty but I will be back to have my brakes done.

I couldn’t be happier with the service on my vehicle. It was under warranty and they honored the warranty readily. The problem was difficult for diagnosed and it took a lot of skill to do so. I believe I have a great friends at Leonardi’s They keep my only car going! I dropped by the shop as I was having an issue with my tires and back window hinges. They squeezed me in the next day and fixed my tires I had a weight fall off on one tire and it made a wiggle in the steering. My back window hinges were loose so they tightened them and they are like new! I am so happy to have a crew working on my old 1998 Ford Explorer! Thank you guys!

Recently my Air Conditioning was only blowing air, no cooling. I was referred to Leonardi Automotive in Novato. NOTE: I was told they are one of the few in the area that was able to service my specific AC unit. I loved being able to set-up appointment online with their easy to use website, I was greeted professionally and told what to expect. I got a call a few hours later with the estimate, went to pick up my car after completion and it now runs great. I was told about their warranty and left a happy customer. I found the team to be knowledgeable as well as friendly. Would highly recommend Leonardi's to any of my friends, and will be back in the future for regular maintenance as well as any issues that pop up.

took my truck there after they said on the phone it would be around $400 to replace a U joint on the front drive axle . Shortly after I dropped it off The price went up to $600 and they told me they had trouble getting it off and would need it overnight the next morning I got a phone call and they said it would be over $1200 and I would be charged $100 for four bolts since one did not seem original ! I asked for a small courtesy discount on parts and half an hour later I got a call saying I could pick up my truck and they did not want to do the job I spoke with the owner and asked him to please do the work and he said he did not want to partially because I asked for a discount. I apologize to him and told him to please do the work at full price since I was leaving on a trip and I had to get this done. He did not want to do the work no matter what I said, and in fact, he hung up on me like a child saying he did not have to explain himself. I took the truck down the road to another shop and they were able to finish the work and I saved over $500 By picking up my truck so if you want your estimates to keep going up and people to hang up on you - and drop your vehicle like you don’t matter, go to them- These are the type of people you will be dealing with!!

I also understand that it was a frustrating moment, and your emotions were understandably high, which can sometimes make communication more difficult on both sides. That said, I want to be very clear that I would never hang up on a customer. I ended the call respectfully after saying goodbye, as I always do. At our shop, we genuinely strive to communicate openly, treat people with respect, and stand behind our work.
