Novato Auto Repair

It's highly unlikely that I would give an auto repair place 5 stars, but these guys repaired and detailed my buddy Jeff's Lexus and they did not miss a single beat. I mean his car was jacked up before they got to it. Their work was flawless. Not to mention, the were actually really cool about the whole process. Most auto guys try to muscle you into ridiculous prices and do a half-baked job. But not here. I have to say I was so impressed that I had to write this, and it wasn't even my car. You at least have to consult them if you have car issues. Fail to do so at your own despair.

These guys were great. Went in for an oil change. They told me additional work needed to be done (coolant drain and battery replacement) and then walked me through how to do it myself. They weren't trying to squeeze me for more business.

I can't remember his name (starts with a D, I think?) but the guy at the front desk was really helpful. I brought my car in because it was making some weird noises and had a check engine light on. The mechanics took a look at it in a few hours, and asked me if I had any parts changed recently. I did! Rather than doing the work themselves, they recommended I bring it back to the place I got it fixed originally, as they would probably be able to do it for free/cheaper. I really appreciate that they suggested this rather than just fixing it and charging me. I don't know very much about cars so it's great to find an honest mechanic.

Good location and good work

The guys at Leonardi are great. They have an office staff who explains needed repairs in plain English. They are on time and do good work. With their oil change, they do a thorough inspection which keeps me from having to do costly milestone maintenance on my older model Honda. I highly recommend them!

They performed the service I needed and didn't try to sell me additional services that I didn't really need (unlinke other places I had been). On top of the great service the prices are very fair and won't hurt you wallet. I highly recommend you visit them for your next tune up.

Leonardi Automotive took great care of me and my car! What began as a very seldom problem of getting my car started to get to work in the morning, soon became more frequent. Scared that one day it may not start at all, I took it into Leonardi Auto to have it checked out. They informed me that my starter needed to be replaced - a simple procedure that would have me on the road again that same day. Tony Leonardi and his team were honest, friendly, and you could tell they truly care about you as their customer. No one at Leonardi Automotive is going to nickel and dime you with phony problems or extra work that needs to be done to your vehicle. They offered very fair prices and quick service. You can tell Leonardi Auto has been and will continue to be a successful family business run by strong values and business ethics. I will return to them for all future repairs or oil changes!
